Kandace is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado (AAC) and the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM). Prior to her training in Chinese medicine, Kandace served as a labor and delivery nurse assistant and maintained a private massage practice with specialization in prenatal and postnatal massage, pelvic disorders, and trauma and abuse recovery.
In addition to treating her patients, Kandace also spends a great deal of time writing for scholarly publications. To date, she has published one case study in a peer-reviewed journal and translated Chinese articles. She is currently in the process of writing a book for TCM practitioners on the integrated treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). |
