Prior to her training in Chinese medicine, Kandace practiced massage therapy after attending the Massage Therapy Training Institute in Kansas City, Missouri in 1994. She also worked as a labor and delivery nurse assistant while maintaining a private massage practice that focused on treating women’s health.

While her current practice offers specialized care in the treatment of women’s health concerns, including menstrual disorders, fertility issues, pregnancy & postpartum support, and menopausal disorders, Kandace provides treatment for a wide variety of conditions to men, women, and children. These include allergy relief, stress management, sleep disorders, pain management, digestive disturbances, and so on. Kandace utilizes her skills with acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and massage therapy to create an individualized treatment that addresses the cause of the problem, encouraging the body to heal itself from within, minimizing the need for standard medical intervention.
